With the acquisition of Uncanny Vision, Eagle Eye Networks adds to its offer of video surveillance in the cloud the technology of Artificial Intelligence. It will also have its engineering talent and a new regional office in India..

Eagle Eye Networks has acquired the Artificial Intelligence company (The) Uncanny Vision, whose solutions enable customers' businesses to be more efficient and the world a safer place. The purchase also includes research and development capabilities, and a new regional office in Bangalore, India.

"After evaluating more than a dozen Artificial Intelligence companies, we started working with Uncanny Vision in 2020", Explains Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks. "Their technology is deployed in thousands of locations., including Fortune 500 customers".

Deal Accelerates Eagle Eye Networks Plan, announced in November 2020, when it raised funds from the venture capital firm Accel (more information on Digital Security), to remodel video surveillance.

Uncanny Vision's deep learning algorithms enable recognition, identification and prediction, which improves business operations, customer service and site security.

Its Artificial Intelligence technology is used in multiple applications, including smart parking, retail analytics, door security, toll automation, smart cities, ATM monitoring, worker safety and perimeter security.

"Uncanny Vision's tools for training, build and optimize models, and its infrastructure for managing and storing training data is very high. This is a key component to add to the Eagle Eye Networks platform.", Says Drako.
