The Flir Lepton microthermal chamber has a thermal resolution of 160×120 and captures temperatures ranging from 20 below-zero grades to 400 degrees Celsius.

The battery has a lifespan of 8 Or 16 hours and can be changed hot, i.e. without interrupting the normal operation of the device. The touch screen can be managed by both a pencil and gloves and is readable in sunlight.

The device can be customized by incorporating a bar reader, a serial port, 4G and smart cards. Its fully robust, fanless design makes it resistant to falls up to 180 Cm, reflecting its IP65 protection index. Still, it's light and compact, as it fits in the trouser pocket.
