The network and communication equipment manufacturer AirLive has announced the launch of its new IP camera, the POE-5010HD model, with resolution of 5 megapixel that provides excellent image quality and is ideal for applications that require a higher level of detail.

AirLive POE-5010HD incorporates a removable IR-cut filter for night vision. One of the advantages of this camera is the possibility of choosing several different lenses, such as 4 mm, varifocal or Tamron Varifocal auto iris lenses.

With its IP66 housing and additional IR LED it can also be used outdoors. This camera is equipped with an SD slot / SDHC for local storage, as well as with DIDO connector for the integration of external sensors or alarms. Besides, POE-5010HD can be used in many different places and under various weather conditions, becoming an option for both large and small IP surveillance systems. It goes without saying that it offers H.264 compression.

Equipped with a progressive scan CMOS sensor of 5 megapixel, POE-5010HD can capture sharper images than previous sensors. It also works in resolutions of 3, 2 o 1 megapixel. In this way it delivers much more detailed information per frame for facial recognition or detection of strange objects.
