Hanwha Techwin has introduced a physical distance measurement application through AI-based video analysis with Deep Learning, that helps companies and public institutions implement their security estating policies.

Developed by A.I Tech, Hanwha Techwin's award-winning technology partner, The server-based physical distance measurement application is able to accurately measure the distance between people in a camera's field of view and will generate an alarm if separation rules are not met. Users can also receive alerts if the number of people within a zone exceeds a set threshold.

Compatible with all Wisenet cameras, the application has been developed for use in workplaces such as offices and factories, as well as in a wide range of other indoor areas such as art galleries, museums and places of worship.

The Physical Distance Measurement app also works in outdoor environments and offers a tool for implementing people separation, very effective for public transport and city centres where authorities must monitor and manage the number of people who can gather in busy locations.

The application has been integrated with THE VMS Wisenet Wave software and users have the option to use the AI Tech dashboard, web-based, to collect, Add, watch and act on alarms and events from multiple video streams from cameras.

The data can also be visualized in the form of graphs, tables and images. In addition, can be easily exported in .csv, .jpeg or .pdf and integrate into third-party systems.

The control panel is fully customizable to meet the individual user's operational requirements and is accessed through a PC, smartphone or tablet.
