Cias Elettronica protects a Milan car park against theft

Para dar respuesta a los problemas de seguridad, It was decided to combine a perimeter protection system using fences along with a high-definition IP camera circuit. The option was the Sioux Mems solution distributed by ProdexTec.

Near Milan Linate airport there is a four-star hotel belonging to one of the main hotel groups in Europe and the world.

The establishment began to have problems with clients due to the parking where they left their cars during their stay. They suffered continuous intrusions by thieves who were interested in stealing small items and who broke windows and locks to get their loot. Proteger el aparcamiento se convirtió en una prioridad. Se hizo una evaluación de riesgos y se analizó el lugar. Se concluyó que la mejor opción era combinar un sistema de protección perimetral mediante vallas junto con un circuito de cámaras IP de alta definición.

El sistema de vallas elegido fue el Sioux Mems de Cias Elettronica, marca que se comercializa en España y Portugal a través de ProdexTec. Este permite detectar el lugar preciso en el que se produce la intrusión y acudir al lugar para tomar las medidas oportunas.

El punto a destacar en esta solución fue la instalación. The MEMS sensors and connection cables were mechanically protected by metal boxes and tubes, to protect them against tampering attempts. Besides, this protection reduces the maintenance costs that the hotel has to bear.

This project demonstrates how perimeter fence protection integrates all digital devices while minimizing cable usage, without reducing security performance.
