ProdexTec CIAS Micro-Ray

Micro-Ray is the microwave ray column designed by Cias Elettronica to protect perimeters where space is limited, because you only need one meter of free space.

ProdexTec CIAS Micro-RayUnlike infrared barriers, that are normally used to protect narrow sites, is immune to weather conditions such as temperature, fog or solar glare. In the same way, is not affected by the headlights of the vehicles and also does not require frequent maintenance such as cleaning the deck.

This solution, distributing ProdexTec, uses special antennas 24 Ghz that allow up to four independent units to be mounted in the same column, no interference.

These antennas create very narrow beams and the alarm occurs due to their interruption (as in infrared barriers) and not through the analysis of disturbances generated by any movement within the volume, as in classic microwave volumetric barriers.

Each module has a separate output with alarm, failure and tamper that can be connected to any intrusion control panel. Diffuse digital logic (Fuzzy Logic) applied to each ray makes it possible to modulate the signal and obtain the best combination between the right detections and false alarms.

A special feature of Micro-Ray is that each ray is completely independent and can be freely configured by selecting one in five available scenarios. In addition, you can choose between basic or advanced settings, depending on the time of lightning outage. This technology is extremely accurate in detecting trace attempts, discriminating false alarms.
