The new hard acusto-magnetic label (Am) Sensormatic brand presented by Tyco Integrated Fire & Security offers retail a reliable solution, light and discreet to protect delicate garments, especially in the face of upcoming Christmas shopping.

Tyco Sensormatic labelThe security manufacturer Tyco Integrated F&S has introduced the new hard acusto-magnetic label (Am) Sensormatic brand for delicate garments and fine fabrics, designed specifically to help retailers protect higher-value clothing prone to theft that was previously not possible to protect with traditional hard labels for electronic item protection (Eas).

Thanks to its small format, light weight and fine nail design, this label does not cause any damage to the delicate items and increases the protection of them thanks to the acustomagnetic technology that incorporates.

The development of this device responds to the need of the retail sector to preserve sensitive high-end items, which corresponds to the 'Global retail theft barometer' on theft in 2011, confirming that the items most prone to theft in this environment are clothing and accessories.

Until now, retailer did not have a lightweight anti-theft label to protect the most expensive and delicate fabrics, like silk, rayon and linen, while Tyco's new development has an innovative magnetic sensor to protect specific clothing, as lingerie, Blouses, Handkerchiefs, Etc., prone to damage from the weight of sensors and nails on standard EAS labels.

The label weighs less than five grams, which is almost a 50% less than traditional ones, which prevents damage to clothing, and has a lower visual impact on them. This development also works with Sensormatic's standard magnetic label decouplers.
