Tyco actualiza sus herramientas de gestión victor/VideoEdge incrementando la usabilidad y experiencia de usuario

The victor Unified VMS and the update 5.0 de VideoEdge Network Video Recorders ofrecen nuevas capacidades de análisis de vídeo para el reconocimiento de matrículas de vehículos, así como una detección de perímetro más eficiente tanto para exteriores como interiores.

Tyco Integrated Fire & Security ha dado a conocer el sistema de gestión de vídeo victor Unified y la versión 5.0 de VideoEdge Network Video Recorders, que cuenta con una interfaz de usuario mejorada y nuevas características de detección y análisis para conseguir una mayor visibilidad del entorno de seguridad.

Entre las nuevas funciones que ofrecen estas dos aplicaciones se encuentra el reconocimiento de matrículas de vehículos, detección de perímetro, un sistema de backup para caídas del sistema, based on recording on SD cards, and other advanced surveillance features, offering faster and more reliable control capabilities.

The new user interface of the video management system (VMS) unified Victor, simplifies the daily activities of security operators thanks to the light control option in poorly lit management centers.

The interface offers a 'Home' view reminiscent of home interfaces, facilitating investigation and live viewing. The workflow functions have also been redesigned to be more intuitive, as well as a new navigation bar and a wide variety of filters for the menu.

“Victor's graphical interface makes the security operator's experience more comfortable and efficient, reducing the number of clicks and, besides, takes advantage of Illustra cameras to have backup in case of system failure”, explains Alfonso González Blázquez, security product manager of the company.

Analysis and detection

The new version of Victor/VideoEdge offers new video analytics capabilities for vehicle license plate recognition, así como una detección de perímetro más eficiente tanto para exteriores como interiores.

The TrickleStor function of VideoEdge allows Illustra cameras and VideoEdge to work simultaneously to provide a seamless solution in case of system failure, reducing costs.

If communication between the NVR and the cameras is interrupted or stops, automatically detects the anomaly and starts recording a video on the SD card. Once the connections are restored, the recorded video is transferred back to the NVR's hard drive. This way, the operators do not notice that there was an interruption when they view the video later, maintaining an unobstructed line of sight and providing a hassle-free experience.

The license plate recognition system (LPR) sends real-time notifications to security operators to announce the arrival of VIP users or when unauthorized vehicles are detected.
