Hanwha Techwin reinforces its presence in AI with Wisenet Wave 5.0
The version 5.0 of the VMS of Hanwha harness the power of AI analysis, cybersecurity, the usability of the system and the new possibilities of interactivity for administrators and end users.
Hanwha Techwin Europe has released the latest version of its video management system (VMS), Wisenet Wave. The 5.0 has been designed to respond to the great increase in the use of Artificial intelligence.
This update expands your focus to harness the power of AI analytics, cybersecurity, the usability of the system and the new possibilities of interactivity for administrators and end users.
Advanced object search is available, so operators can search for those that have been identified through video analysis and stored in files by their specific attributes, as the type of object, color, género, age or the clothes they are wearing. This can also be viewed in a new popup window to improve the operator's workflow.
Users can also configure video file backups based on associated system metadata, including movement, markers or objects, plus real-time backups, scheduled or on demand.
Other updates include new usability capabilities and management functions that make it easier to manage video footage from groups of cameras using a variety of recording options., like motion and low resolution or motion and objects. These can be shared with specific user groups.
Operators can also access easier playback features to view the final minutes of an event and view more detailed information about the servers and cameras recording an event.. Login has also been improved to help operators order, easily filter and hide systems.
The client will also download updates automatically and in the background to ensure that the system is always correctly updated and has no vulnerabilities (You can choose to disable this automatic update if you wish).
Cybersecurity improves with two-factor authentication (2FA) as a system-wide setup that requires all users with cloud accounts to use an authenticator app to access (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator o Duo Mobile).
VMS server connections now use SSL/TLS certificate pinning to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. VMS servers and clients also use a new type of authentication based on new session by default (bearer token) Video files are encrypted and only visible from Clients – control centers or mobile applications – and work on any hard drive or storage media.
“Surveillance and security solutions increasingly include integrated analytics to provide data that drives protection and intelligent business decisions.”. This version 5.0 marks the continued evolution of our Wave platform as the future-proof solution security professionals need.”, explains Uri Guterman, Director of Product and Marketing at Hanwha Techwin Europe.
