Uniview brings a safer shopping experience at Walmart Mexico

The retail chain Walmart Mexico and Central America now has CCTV solutions from Uniview to secure the processes of service data and management of orders from your stores.

Walmart Mexico and Central America is the largest division of the Walmart retail chain outside the United States, With 2.653 stores across the country, Including 287 Establishments Walmart Supercenter And 165 Sam’s Club.

With the aim of processing service data and managing orders more securely and efficiently, Walmart managers from Mexico and Central America have selected the manufacturer's technology Uniview.

Walmart Supercenter needed a solution to perform strict control of its sales service and order management data. The project is based on a videowall installation, configured with twenty-five screens of 55″ LCD MW-A55-B1, high performance and reliability, which admits special splicing compensation to avoid cauterization, image rotation and white balance adjustment.

This solution also uses four high-definition video decoders DC5506-E providing six HDMI output interfaces and a DMC8000-5U videowall driver.

High definition video decoder can support multiple displays with different resolutions, dividing all output channels into four different groups, with function picture in picture which was one of the requirements that Walmart Supercenter needed for its management.

Thanks to the unique video processing algorithm, it is ensured that the image quality is not lost in the zoom process.

UNV's supermarket monitoring programme not only processes service data and manages all orders, it also provides an analysis of the products and improves the overall quality of service of each supermarket.
