Scati protects the vessels and merchandise of a modern seaport in Brazil

Para garantizar la seguridad en el área perimetral se han instalado 10 cámaras IP Domo PTZ de alta velocidad; mientras que los abordajes a las embarcaciones desde el agua se evitan con dos cámaras Bi-spectrum SET-14B25-Y36. El proyecto se completará con 200 cámaras IP Bullet, encargadas de proteger el recinto aduanero y los contenedores.

Un puerto marítimo privado de dedicación mixta, capaz acoger embarcaciones de gran tamaño que incluyen hasta 9000 TEUs y con capacidad de manejar hasta dos millones de TEUs anuales, lo que lo sitúan como el tercer puerto más grande de Brasil en el manejo de contenedores.

Es una de las terminales más modernas del mundo y ecológicamente sostenible ya que se encuentra ubicado lejos del perímetro urbano de la ciudad, con conexión directa a una de las mayores carreteras federales de Brasil que forma parte de la carretera Panamericana.

Para garantizar la seguridad de embarcaciones, containers y mercancías sus responsables decidieron apostar por la tecnología de videovigilancia de Scati.

Para proteger el área perimetral que linda con la carretera Panamericana se han instalado 10 cámaras IP Domo PTZ de alta velocidad, capaces de recoger imágenes con una resolución de hasta 2 Mpx, zoom óptico de 36x y a una distancia de hasta 500 metros, gracias a su IR laser de largo alcance.

El modelo SED-3511NR-EXY36W incorpora la funcionalidad WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to provide images with great sharpness under lighting contrasts in the scene, not to lose any detail and to resolve, in real time, any unforeseen situation that may arise. It offers good performance in low-light environments, thanks to its high-sensitivity sensor, and is capable of switching to day/night mode automatically thanks to its mechanical filter, supported by its infrared laser.

To prevent boarding of boats from the water, two bi-spectrum cameras have been installed (SET-14B25-Y36) on the loading cranes; that is to say, thermal and visible spectrum technology has been combined in the same camera.

The thermal lens is capable of detecting people and vehicles through powerful intelligent behavior algorithms (line crossing, intrusion, entry/exit of an area), in addition to being able to detect fires, sending a reliable alarm to the control center to provide a quick response to any type of incident.

The optical lens offers high image quality of 2 Mpx and a 36x optical zoom aided by a long-range IR of up to 200 metros, which allows obtaining a visual verification of the alarm detected by the thermal sensor with great detail.

This project will be completed with 200 IP Bullet cameras with which it is possible to guarantee the security of the customs enclosure and the containers.

This port aims to invest in intelligent video systems to ensure the security of the thousands of containers with goods that daily, traverse its facilities both by land and by sea.
