Panasonic serie i-Pro X: IP security cameras with integrated Artificial Intelligence

Panasonic ha anunciado su nueva serie de cámaras de seguridad IP i-Pro X con funcionalidades de inteligencia artificial integradas. Gracias a su kit de desarrollo de software, esta gama está diseñada para que los desarrollos de aplicaciones de otros fabricantes puedan adaptarse a las necesidades de un cliente profesional. La gama incluye seis nuevos modelos de 5 MP y resolución 4K, en versiones domo o compacta antivandálica, for interior and exterior.

Las nuevas cámaras de Panasonic permiten la instalación de hasta tres aplicaciones de análisis de vídeo, con dos aplicaciones i-Pro más el kit de desarrollo de software incluido de forma gratuita si se adquieren antes de finales de marzo de 2021. Las dos aplicaciones de análisis que ya están disponibles son AI Video Motion Detection (AI-VMD) y Privacy Masking.

AI-VMD allows detecting any person, vehicle, two-wheel motorcycles or bicycles and it can be used for intruder detection, the identification of loiterers and addresses. The artificial intelligence engine allows triggering alarms, based on predefined parameters, with a high level of accuracy.

The second application is Privacy Masking, which allows detecting and recognizing human figures in a video scene, and pixelating their figures or faces to protect privacy. This application is important for many companies operating in geographic areas where very strict privacy laws are in force, such as in Europe with the GDPR.

It can be used to protect the identity of employees, clients and visitors from a wide range of industrial sectors.

The new i-Pro X series uses an artificial intelligence engine with built-in analysis that detects suspicious changes in scenes, automatically adjusts the image settings of the scene being analyzed and optimizes video compression to conserve network bandwidth and server storage capabilities.

The new range of cameras, with its open software development kit, offers exciting opportunities that allow a wide range of state-of-the-art artificial intelligence applications to be adapted to the specific needs of professional clients.
