i-Pro EMEA analyzes its first anniversary in the professional security market

With more than a hundred new AI-equipped cameras, i-PRO EMEA focuses its future growth on cutting-edge technologies, backed by its new strategic vision.

Established in the market in the year 2019 as a spin-off of the Security Systems Business Division of Panasonic, currently i-PRO it is in a unique position in the security market, having successfully combined the innovation of a newly created company with the legacy acquired over more than sixty years by the Japanese manufacturer.

With the aim of continuing to increase its market position with new technologies and an ambitious business strategy, the leaders of i-PRO EMEA have shared and analyzed their first anniversary as an independent company.

One of the aspects highlighted by the company focuses on making artificial intelligence technology capabilities universally available throughout the video surveillance market.

This is what he pointed out Gerard Figs, president of i-PRO EMEA: in this fast-moving market, our main goal is to help partners grow and keep up to ensure mutual knowledge and growth.

In this sense, i-PRO has presented more than a hundred new AI-equipped cameras, including a multisensor device that has been awarded by the market (more details in Digital Security), which has made it one of the most innovative companies in the security market.

The company emphasizes that 'not all AI cameras are the same'. The integration of this technology carried out by i-PRO is different from other products. Equipped with powerful Ambarella chips, our AI cameras allow the execution of multiple video analyses simultaneously”.

Another of the highlighted advantages in this regard is edge processing, especially with AI-based object detection and attribute data: downloading from servers (both local and in the cloud), and the flexibility for the system to be expanded without significant additional costs.

According to data from the consulting firm Novaira Insights, AI deep learning will represent the 58% of the global surveillance camera market for 2026. We believe that the ability to analyze data, count people, recognize license plates, identify vehicles, colors, etc. debería ser una oferta estándar en cámaras”, aseguran.

Con las cámaras habilitadas para IA, “los clientes pueden satisfacer las necesidades actuales mientras preparan sus instalaciones para el futuro, sin incurrir en costes significativos -afirma Norio Hitsuishi, director global de gestión de productos de i-PRO-. Pero lo que es más importante, la IA mejora la situación en tiempo real y permite que la seguridad se vuelva proactiva en lugar de reactiva”.

 

Cumplimiento con la NDAA

En el entorno de la seguridad cibernética, los responsables de i-PRO destacan que sus dispositivos han alcanzado el más alto nivel de certificación, con cumplimiento de FIPS 140-2 level 3, y con cámaras certificadas con la NDAA para ofrecer la máxima fiabilidad ante ataques cibernéticos.

“A medida que las amenazas cibernéticas evolucionan y se vuelven más sofisticadas -añade Figols- es imperativo educarnos a nosotros mismos, a los integradores de sistemas y a los usuarios finales sobre las mejores prácticas sobre qué buscar al especificar un sistema resistente. La ciberseguridad es un asunto global e i-PRO aspira a ser el líder en computación de vanguardia con IA abierta, a través de un potente hardware compatible con NDAA y ciberseguro, para proporcionar integridad de metadatos”.

Servicio de entrega rápida

A pesar de la inflación y la escasez de componentes de la industria, i-PRO también se ha comprometido a mantener precios competitivos, para lo que ha presentado su nueva estrategia de la cadena de suministro, que se materializa en servicio de entrega rápida (de dos a tres días para modelos clave) para garantizar que sus socios puedan cumplir con los requisitos de cada proyecto.
