KBC Networks provides safety and control to UK racing circuits

Using a tripod solution with custom remote power, each drop-down system contains two PTZ cameras, a WES3HTG wireless transmitter and a branded Ethernet switch distributed by ProdexTec.

The British Karting Championship, which is held on multiple circuits in the UK and has been growing in recent years, had a small number of circuits that had some type of CCTV.

These tracks use the security of the cameras both for the protection of the circuit day and night and for the control of the races, where they play a fundamental role in establishing the causes of an accident.

They needed a solution that was portable and easy to carry., therefore, the use of the WES3HTG wireless transmitter of KBC Networks, brand distributed in Spain and Portugal by ProdexTec, that has provided not only the security and visual aid necessary for control, it could also be deployed on any of the tracks of the circuit.

Each system contained two PTZ cameras, a WES3HTG wireless transmitter and an ESULH4 PoE+++ KBC Ethernet switch, that provides up to 70 watts of power available per port to connect both cameras and the wireless transmitter.

The system proved to be reliable and useful. In addition, the wireless network created by the wes3htg can also be used as a channel to other network-dependent systems that are not related to the camera system, so it offers a very flexible ground network for any future requirement.
