Siemens presents at SICUR 2018 your solutions for the protection of critical infrastructures
En esta edición, Siemens is presenting the proposals developed by the Building Technologies division and its security company Tecosa. Among the novelties being presented is the comprehensive management software Siveillance Viewpoint and the video surveillance platform with facial recognition BioSurveillance.
Siemens has attended the International Security Exhibition (SICUR 2018), which is being held at Ifema until the 23 February), to showcase its most innovative solutions aimed at protecting critical infrastructure. This biennial fair has been the chosen setting for the company to present the proposals developed by the Building Technologies and its security company Tecosa.
Among the novelties that can be seen at their stand (Pavilion 10, 10D13) se encuentra el gestor integral de sistemas de seguridad para el tratamiento de eventos y alarmas Siveillance Viewpoint.
It has interactive capabilities to reduce the user's workload and includes a georeferenced system that provides greater accuracy.
With the development of this solution, Siemens proposes a completely new approach for Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), offering a tool that merges hazard management and command and control functions (CoC). This allows creating an intelligent georeferenced system, with alarm correlation and an interactive multi-view visualization.
Siveillance Viewpoint also includes a Software Development Kit (SDK) aimed at smaller integrators and a SCADA system that allows coordinating events or alerts in the industrial network.
Intelligent video surveillance
For intelligent video surveillance, Siemens has the management system Siveillance VMS, which in this edition of Sicur is presented with new updates. It is an intelligent video management platform capable of meeting the needs of CCTV (Circuito Cerrado de Televisión), both for small premises and for large sites with multiple geographically dispersed locations.
Siveillance VMS incorporates the video analysis plug-in Siveillance SiteIQ Analytics – Perimeter Security Essentials, which offers high intrusion detection rates and low false alarm rates in perimeter security applications. It also allows centralized management of locations.
Facial recognition
Through its security company Tecosa, Siemens is showcasing at the BioSurveillance fair, a revolutionary product in video surveillance and facial recognition.
The Herta Security system detects multiple faces in real-time and facilitates user management at any time. Its technology is very reliable, even when the face is partially hidden, glasses are worn, scarves or caps. It also works in difficult lighting conditions and with moderate face rotations.
BioSurveillance is the ideal solution for crowded environments such as airports, subway or train stations, shopping centers, sports stadiums or urban centers.
Detection of metals, drugs and explosives
Tecosa is also showcasing the innovations related to luggage and package scanning. The novelty is offered at the standard equipment operator's station 3 Incent.view 3D that displays images generated by the Hi-SCAN explosive detection system 10080 XCT.
Depending on the operation mode of the station, images containing suspicious items are either displayed automatically or retrieved via a barcode reader. All graphical information is presented to the operator clearly, so that detected explosives or dark alarms appear within colored frames.
This station can scan up to 1.800 suitcases per hour and is TSA certified for high-speed baggage scanning.
The company is also showcasing metal detector arches, from Ceia, highly reliable like the HI-PE Plus, which includes Met-Identity technology, capable of detecting firearms, indicando su posición y composición, permitiendo al mismo tiempo el paso sin alarma de otros objetos metálicos inofensivos.
