Mobotix has participated one more year in the International Security Exhibition, Sicur 2018, that closed its doors the past 23 February in Ifema Madrid, And, for the first time, has been present in the fire pavilion, presenting its latest novelty in dual thermal technology, the M16 Thermal TR.

"SICUR is the perfect showcase to show our novelties, that's why we couldn't miss. In addition, This year, we have been for the first time in the fire pavilion as our latest technology is oriented to the prevention of temperature control of visible objects, and we wanted to know the response of visitors to our solution", comments Alfredo Gutiérrez, Regional Sales Manager of Mobotix Iberia.

Mobotix M16 Thermal TR

This intelligent video system with thermal image sensor and dual lens stands out for its configuration of up to 20 different temperature events, through so-called TR windows or through the full sensor image in a temperature range of – 40 To + 550 ℃. In this way, critical situations can be analyzed at the command post in advance and the next steps to prevent fires can be implemented.

Mobotix cactus conceptOne of its greatest features is that it protects the perimeter in a cost-effective way by doing so with just one camera., even a very large outdoor area without additional lighting or totally in the dark. Its combined combination of video and thermal sensors with intelligent, software-based motion detection (MxActivitySensor) allows to equip a large perimeter efficiently and without additional devices, such as conventional or infrared lighting.

On the other hand, when an object moves in a relevant surveillance area, Dual camera systems can switch from thermal sensor to optical sensor and record high-resolution video, combining two otherwise incompatible aspects.

Also, the company has taken the opportunity to show attendees its new 'Cactus Concept', a cybersecurity awareness initiative in the field of video surveillance whose objective is to sensitize current and potential Mobotix customers to the importance of data security in network-based video surveillance systems and show them how organizations can protect themselves through cost-effective and intelligent solutions.
