Siemens brings to SICUR its thermographic video surveillance system capable of detecting fever

Amid the advance of the 'coronavirus', The Testo FeverDetection solution features as one of the manufacturer's new offerings at the exhibition and attracts the interest of professionals, as it allows the visualization of people's body temperature through remote monitoring.

Located in the pavilion 10 of Ifema, the space of Siemens in SICUR 2020 is divided into different areas focused on video surveillance, access control, fire protection systems, financial services and high-end security systems; technological proposals developed by Smart Infrastructures and its security company, Tecosa.

One of the new offerings is the TestoFeverDetection solution, a video surveillance system that, thanks to the integration of thermal cameras, detects people's body temperature. This way, Security personnel can identify those who have a temperature above the average and, consequently, with a high probability of being sick.

This system has not only attracted interest due to the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), but it was already tested when Avian Flu started and is increasingly used in large facilities with many people.

This platform generates a visual and sound alarm that notifies the operator so that, in case the fever poses a health risk to the rest of the individuals, appropriate measures are implemented.

Another of the proposals is the intelligent video management platform Siveillance VMS, which facilitates the management of the entire system from a single solution, including various cameras and other security devices.

Besides, the new version of Siveillance Video 2019 R3, which unifies searches across multiple cameras at the same time in a single tab; and Siveillance Control Viewpoint, which incorporates in its new version the ability to group alarms according to their location and time scale, are presented for the first time at the exhibition.

Within the Siveillance family, the access control solution Siveillance MobileAccess is also showcased, an application that turns smartphones into digital keys and opens only the doors to rooms that people are allowed to access.

This system is cloud-based and works as software as a service, to adapt flexibly and scalably to each need, especially suitable for offices, hotels, etc. and which is showcased at the fair with the Salto XS4 locks.

Following the company's premise of monitoring different security systems in real time and from a single platform, in this area of the stand there is also Arcules, a cloud video solution that connects cameras directly to cloud Siemens' private cloud for video management and storage.

This way, the client does not need to have IT infrastructure, since only a small network device is installed that communicates with the multinational's cloud.

To Siemens' proposal at SICUR 2020 se suma también un paquete de soluciones para protección contra incendios en las baterías de iones de litio, junto con las novedades en equipos de inspección y protección contra incendios, como detectores y sensores, según el nuevo reglamento de instalaciones RIPCI.

En cuanto a infraestructuras críticas, Siemens presenta HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX, un equipo de inspección de equipajes por Rayos X que utiliza tecnología de tomografía computarizada para los bolsos y maletas de mano.
