Arecont Vision facilitates the installation of video surveillance cameras with the MegaDome G3 and G3 RS

These units include motorized remote focus and zoom. Besides, the RS model features hands-free configuration. They offer advanced capabilities such as including bandwidth reduction and day/night technologies for optimal performance.

Arecont Vision has added two indoor/outdoor models to its Mega Dome video surveillance camera line that bring new capabilities and ease of installation. These are the G3 and G3 RS (remote configuration) which were presented at the last edition of ASIS International, which was celebrated from 23 al 28 September at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas (Texas).

La MegaDome G3 ofrece opciones de 1,2, 1080p, 3, 5 y 10 MP para resolver cualquier necesidad de aplicación. Todos los modelos incorporan IR-corregida motorizada con gran ángulo P-iris o lente varifocal del teleobjetivo con focus/zoom remoto para proporcionar una alta claridad de la imagen y facilitar la instalación.

La compresión H.264 de Arecont Vision y la tecnología SNAPstream (Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing – Adaptation and intelligent noise processing) reduce bandwidth consumption and storage requirements, without affecting image quality. The optional Stellar technology (Spatio Temporal Low Light Architecture) is available on some models to achieve better light sensitivity and capture color details in near-total darkness. It also features Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) enhanced for saturated lighting conditions. For improved illumination, the IR illuminators (infrared) integrated are available on some models. The MegaDome G3 features an easy-to-install housing that offers both IP66 and IK-10, being impact resistant.

For your part, the MegaDome G3 RS offers resolution options of 3 o 5 MP, SNAPstream, models with optional enhanced WDR and IP66/IK-10 ratings.

Este modelo también se ha diseñado facilitar su instalación y configuración. Con la configuración remota, el instalador monta la cámara e instala el cable de red PoE (Power over Ethernet) sin problema.
El paquete de lentes varifocales motorizadas de la cámara ofrece funciones de posicionamiento remoto, enfoque, panoramización (359º), inclination (90º) y zoom para una rápida configuración.

Las cámaras Arecont Vision ejecutan la arquitectura MPIP (Massively Parallel Image Processing) desarrollada internamente en un circuito integrado de Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Arecont Vision desarrolla todas las características y tecnologías principales, y las cámaras instaladas pueden actualizarse con nuevas capacidades y mejoras a través de actualizaciones de firmware remoto, prolongando así la vida útil del dispositivo.

Mediante el empleo de la arquitectura MPIP, las cámaras Arecont Vision no requieren el uso de sistemas operativos integrados, ni hacen uso de 3rd party code o conjuntos de chips de características básicas. Este enfoque elimina el riesgo potencial de puertas traseras oculta u otros problemas de seguridad cibernética.

Las series MegaDome G3 y G3 RS son compatibles con el perfil Onvif (Open Network Video Interface Forum) y están integradas con diferentes sistemas de gestión de vídeo (VMS) y grabadoras de red (NVR) a través del programa Technology Partner.
