Arecont MegaVideo Flex

Arecont Vision has introduced the MegaVideo Flex IP camera, equipment that, because of its small dimensions, is ideal for use in areas where discrete video surveillance is required or for its use of ATMs and narrow spaces.

This flexible and compact indoor and outdoor camera consists of a sensor, which is the core of the team, a metal mounting arm and a USB cable that is used to connect the camera sensor to your main unit. It is available in different configurations, in response to its resolution, 1080p, 1,2, 3 And 5 Mp.

The MegaVideo Flex is a true day/night camera ideal for use in environments with variable lighting conditions, regardless of the time of day. NightView technology in the 1,2 MP ensures coverage in areas where there is low light. For applications with bright or highly saturated light conditions, a version including Wide Dynamic Range is available (Wide Dynamic Range – Wdr).

Its installation is very simple. The sensor can be surface mounted through the mounting bracket or recessed into the ceiling or placed on the wall with the two lock nuts included, without additional accessories being needed.

For greater flexibility, the USB cable allows the camera sensor to be mounted in an area up to 12 meters away from the main unit. The camera includes two adjustment rings, in black and white ring, so that the sensor can adapt to any environment. The main unit has two USB ports to allow the addition of one or two IR illuminators. Each of them has six infrared LEDs 850 nm to provide a capacity of up to 15 meters of night vision.

The MegaVideo Flex has been enhanced with a remote approach that facilitates initial setup and simplifies future adjustments. These lenses are available in 2,1, 2,8, 4, 6, 8, 12 And 16 mm lenses. It also offers advanced streaming capabilities, with H.264 compression encoding to deliver high-quality video without forcing the network, and Arecont Vision SNAPstream technology (Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing) that decreases bandwidth usage.
