This is a dome system, that offers IP66 protection and includes IK-10 vandal resistance, built with advanced features to deliver high image quality, even in low light conditions.

Arecont Megadome 4K-1080p

The MegaDome 4K camera is the latest member of the all-in-one line of Arecont Vision all-in-one. This dual-mode system (indoors and outdoors) offers a resolution 8,3 Mp (3.840×2.160 Megapixel) for ultra-high resolution 4K image quality at 30 fps or 1080p in binned a mode 60 Fps.

“This video surveillance solution offers high image quality, advanced capabilities, And 27 times the resolution of standard resolution IP cameras, providing real-time hd video output. In addition, it has also been taken into account to incorporate advanced capabilities in its design to facilitate its installation”, explains Brad Donaldson, Vice President of Product Development at Arecont Visión.

The MegaDome 4K features mechanical IR cut filter and IR Led for real day/night functionality. Binning Mode (in 1080p) offers high performance in low light, while Moonlight mode features a long exposure time and noise cancellation. IR LEDs have an adjustable angle and the intensity of the video LED is improved to adapt to a wide variety of environments where there is little light.

It is an ideal dome system for use both indoors and outdoors, offering IP-66 protection for water and dust and including IK-10 vandal resistance.

This is the first Arecont Vision camera equipped with a new dome system that reduces installation time, which is further simplified thanks to the design of 3 easily adjustable axes on which the P-Iris focus/zoom lens is mounted to provide a wide range of coverage options.

Among the features it incorporates is also the inclusion of dual encoders (H.264/MJPEG), Casino Mode (to maintain 30 fps according to industry regulations), and P-Iris control (to enable the camera and deliver the best possible image in terms of depth of field and clarity).

Other noteworthy features are the privacy mask, motion detection, flexible trimming and bitrate control. It also includes Arecont SNAPstream technology (Intelligent noise adaptation and processing – Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing) reduces bandwidth without affecting image quality. It also incorporates support for an SDHC card to meet storage requirements.

Can be powered via a single Power over Ethernet network cable (Poe), without requiring external power for the camera or IR Leds, or via a 12-48V DC/24V AC power supply. Its interface allows intuitive configuration, quick and easy, while the IP Utility tool allows users to configure or update one or more cameras at once quickly.
