HD multi-sensor cameras have been chosen due to their flexible design that allows multiple angles of the busy streets of Union Square to be captured from a single piece of equipment, to maximize scene coverage and minimize blind spots.

With 4K resolutions (8 Mp) to 7K (30 Mp), Pro HD cameras have been installed to cover wide areas, while still offering optimal image detail for zooming. This provides operators with the ability to identify and quickly respond to potential security events..

"Our top priority is to maintain Union Square as the vibrant heart of San Francisco and a world-class destination.. The ACC system is easy to use and the image quality of the camera is impressive, allowing our operators to perform video searches easily and quickly when an incident has occurred. This has helped deter criminals and, ultimately, makes the Union Square district safer and more enjoyable for our community.", says Karin Flood, CEO of USBID.
