Panasonic's new range of rugged security cameras is designed for outdoor use, particularly in the transport sector. Composed of WV-SBV131M and WV-SBV111M, these devices generate HD images and are equipped with a cast aluminum housing that offers protection against external or mechanical shocks.

The WV-SBV131 and WV-SBV111M cameras Panasonic offer Full HD and HD images, Respectively; IP6K9K and IP66 rated to ensure maximum durability in an external environment (Water, Dust,...) and equip a cast aluminum housing to withstand heavy shocks and prevent damage to the optical drive in the event of mechanical shocks, so they are ideal devices for mounting on vehicles such as trains, Bus, Wagons, cargo and military.

Both systems also incorporate a cooling fan and a heater to ensure its operation at all types of temperatures, without harming image quality, adapting to different conditions. For example, if mounted on a vehicle, Intense light compensation and Adaptive Black Stretch functions ensure image quality, regardless of lighting conditions.

Added to this a wide viewing angle, even when mounted on the side of a vehicle, for which it has a side installation function that allows the user to set a mandatory viewing angle for the unit, regardless of the position.

To do this they incorporate VIQS technology (Variable Image Quality on Specified Area), available on many Panasonic security cameras, making it easy to select specific areas of an image for high-quality streaming, while all other areas outside the specific area are shipped with a lower quality, thus reducing the size of the file.
