WiseNet Lite: Samsung Techwin's affordable Full HD IP video surveillance

Three bullet cameras and seven domes make up the new range of WiseNet Lite high-definition network devices that Samsung Techwin already has available as an affordable alternative to the Open Platform WiseNetIII models.

Samsung Techwin has developed its new range of video surveillance cameras WiseNet Lite to offer installers, integrators and European partners of the company a high-definition network security alternative to the Open Platform WiseNetIII systems at an affordable cost, with three bullet-type devices and seven domes of 2 And 1,3 Megapixel.

WiseNet Lite Full HD models share many of the features of the WiseNetIII range, as video analysis, motion detection, areas with privacy masks, audio compatibility, PoE and SD and SDHC memory card slot. They also have LDC (correction of lens distortion), which compensates for image distortion by the effect of wide-angle lenses.

This new range also incorporates the Hallway display function, to monitor narrow vertical areas such as corridors, passageways and tunnels, so that the camera captures images with an aspect ratio of 9:16×3:4 that works effectively in high and narrow spaces, with the added value of minimizing bandwidth and video storage requirements.
