Panasonic Corporation has signed an agreement to acquire all the shares of the Houston-based firm, Vídeo Insight, a developer of video management software (VMS). This operation is part of Panasonic's strategy to strengthen its presence in the North American educational market.

Vídeo InsightFounded in 2002, Vídeo Insight provides VMS solutions for IP security systems to more than 25.000 clients in the financial sector, Administration, retail trade, transport, and education.

The Panasonic Group has set itself the goal of reaching a sales level of 10 trillions of yen in 2018, and B2B solutions, including security and video surveillance systems, play a crucial role in this global growth.
