JFK New York Airport

John F International Airport. Kennedy has migrated its analog security systems to a digital solution that responds to the requirements of these facilities. Sentry360 and its IS-IP10K cameras have been the solution chosen for the implementation of this project. To do this, JFK evaluated aspects such as image quality, the frame rate, resolution and performance offered by these computers in low-light environments.

In addition, Sentry360 cameras are equipped with Sentry360's OwlEye technology that gives them the ability to limit the amount of digital noise generated by low points of light, reduciendo los picos del ancho de banda.

Sentry360 IS-IP10KIn total they have been installed 247 Sentry360 cameras that have been placed both outside and inside the terminal. Each area of this airport has its own peculiarities. While the outer cargo area is shown as a critical area it is no less so the areas intended for ticket sales and check-in. The architecture of these facilities also shows their peculiarities, with large windows, very high ceilings and columns that made it difficult to deploy security systems. To this we must add its eleven entrance doors and its two interior patios.

each of the computers used for this project serves a different function. The interior walls of the terminal are covered with a combination of fixed and wide-angle cameras of 360 Degrees, to provide details and coverage in areas that were not previously possible. In the outdoor areas have been located cameras that capture down to the smallest detail and systems of the Insight series have been placed in places with low lighting.
