Samsung Techwin SNP-6200RH: Full HD dome with 20x zoom and infrared LED focus
The new Samsung Techwin SNP-6200RH network dome offers an affordable full HD surveillance solution, with 20x optical zoom for outdoor complex environments, such as airports, ports, open spaces, etc.
Samsung Techwin comes with the new PTZ network dome, model SNP-6200RH, which records full HD images (1.920×1.080) and integrates infrared LEDs to illuminate objects at a distance of up to 100 meters, focusing the light beam while the camera zooms to provide clear images even in complete darkness.
The SNP-6200RH model, which complies with the Onvif standard, is equipped with dynamic range expansion technology (WDR), for those environments where high-contrast lighting conditions may exist. Besides, to withstand harsh weather and extreme environmental conditions, it features an IP66 and IK10 vandal-resistant housing, to endure high temperature variations, from -50 degrees to +55 degrees C.
The development of the SNP-6200RH is a direct result of a market research program that identified what both users and installers consider the basic requirements for an outdoor PTZ dome that is durable and functional in a wide range of conditions.
In this sense, this model offers a long list of features to record high-quality images in low-light conditions, as well as UPnP (universal plug-and-play), eight areas with privacy masks and two-way audio, as well as H.264 and MJPEG compression methods, among others.
This video surveillance device offers intelligent video analysis (IVA) to detect activity through various means, such as face detection, integrity controller and input/output direction detection, appearance and disappearance of objects and scene change tampering, which creates an alert if paint is sprayed on the camera lens or it is moved away from its normal field of view without authorization.
As explained by Tim Biddulph, IP product manager at Samsung Techwin Europe, ‘the unique way the SNP-6200RH focuses the power of light and the infrared beam, acorde a la óptica de la cámara, garantiza una iluminación y un consumo de energía óptimos. Hasta la fecha no ha habido ningún domo PTZ capaz de ofrecer este nivel de funcionalidad y asequible para prácticamente cualquier proyecto de videovigilancia, con independencia del número de cámaras que se necesiten”.
