Samsung has introduced a new range of ONVIF compliant VGA resolution network dome cameras and incorporate wiseNetS DSP chipset, being especially suitable for small or medium-sized installations.

blankSamsung has strengthened its range of network video surveillance solutions with the introduction of six new cameras using the WiseNetS chipset, Samsung's newest. This is a chip with DSP (digital signal processor) specially designed for your VGA resolution network cameras.

Along with Third Generation Super Noise Reduction features (SSNRIII) and Super Dynamic Range (SSDR), The WisenetS DSP chip equips each of the ONVIF-compatible VGA cameras with a long list of features: simultaneous multiple video streaming up to 30 images per second with H.264 or MJPEG compression methods, as well as power operation over Ethernet (Poe) and the polygonal privacy mask.

In addition to including standard motion detection, all WiseNetS cameras incorporate face detection to identify the presence of human faces and alert security operators by email, among other options. This feature can be programmed by days of the week and can even detect faces behind polygonal privacy masks.

The quality of VGA images (640 X 480) captured by WiseNetS cameras is improved by using the latest CMOS image sensor technology, while progressive scanning optimizes the capture of high-quality videos of moving objects. This makes it possible, For example, vehicle license plates can be read without blurring the image by movement. Some units also include two-way sound for effective communication in both ways.
