The European railway industry certifies Samsung vandal-proof mini dome cameras

The certification company SGS Korea has certified Samsung's SCV-2010F vandal-proof mini dome camera for use on the European railway network.

The SCV-2010F vandal-proof mini dome camera, compact and flat, of Samsung has been certified for use in the European railway industry. The certification company SGS Korea Co Ltd. has issued a certificate confirming that the SCV-2010F model meets EN-50155 standards, which certify that this model operates reliably under the rigorous conditions of trains. One of the key elements of the certification was to ensure that the SCV-2010F model could withstand extreme vibrations.

El modelo SCV-2010F, antivandálico y totalmente resistente a las inclemencias del tiempo con protección IP66, measures only 100 x 115 x 42 mm and incorporates Samsung's successful W-5 DSP chipset to deliver a resolution of 600 TV lines, even at lighting levels as low as 0,04 lux. El modelo SCV-2010F, which comes with a lens of 3,0 mm to capture below a viewing angle of 90º, combines Samsung's Super Noise Reduction technology (SSNRIII) and Sens-up technology to enhance the camera's color performance in low-light conditions.

Despite being compact in size, the SCV-2010F model comes equipped with many very useful features for users and installers such as coaxial control, HLC technology, motion detection, Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR) and an on-screen menu in multiple languages, which ensures easy setup. The privacy configuration allows setting 12 privacy zones in different colors and brightness, so that they can be clearly seen in changing background scenes.
