Network video manufacturer Axis Communications designed compact HDTV bullet camera M2014-E, a flexible and easy-to-install video surveillance solution indoors and semi-outdoor environments.

Axis M2014EM2014-E is the new network video surveillance camera for Axis Communications, small and compact size especially suitable for installation in shops, hotels or small offices that need an easy-to-use and economical security solution.

Axis M2014EAs Erik Frynnlid explains, Axis Communications Product Management Director, "M2014-E is the smallest bullet HDTV network camera on the market, ideal for video surveillance in SMEs, with a unique design concept comprising a main unit and a separate camera unit for maximum flexibility and ease of installation in areas where it was previously not possible".

This model offers HDTV 720p image quality at full speed, with multiple individually configurable video sources in H.264 compression, to optimize bandwidth and storage without compromising image quality, and also supports Motion JPEG.

Axis M2014M2014-E integrates a memory card slot and support for Axis Camera Companion, the video management video surveillance solution for SMEs (from one to sixteen cameras) from this Swedish manufacturer. In addition, includes an I/O port to connect devices, sensors and external relays, to trigger alarms or access control and is supported by Axis Camera Station video management software.

The M2014-E camera unit is IP66 rated, ensuring protection against dust and heavy rain for semi-outdoor use; support for Axis' unique Corridor format, that allows the camera to supply a vertical field of view, as well as Hosted Video and Onvif.
