Hanwha Vision WiseDetector allows you to 'train' devices to detect objects

The new solution from Hanwha Vision provides the flexibility to train machine learning models on new objects in AI cameras of the Wisenet P series.

WiseDetector is the new machine learning-based feature (machine learning) introduced by Hanwha Vision to train video cameras and detect new types of objects, according to a model defined by the end user. It is compatible with the P series of AI cameras and does not require a license.

This new feature provides customized solutions based on situational requirements, allowing teams to efficiently manage any security or protection needs. It operates efficiently by detecting distinct objects. Some examples of objects that can be trained to be detected are: boxes that could be a hazard on the store floor, cones that block roads or signs that obstruct aisles.

The flexibility of detection based on the machine learning can create new opportunities for security teams to reinforce other measures, como el control de acceso. For example, WiseDetector can also be trained to recognize open or closed doors, which provides a visual alert that improves access control.

The training of WiseDetector is done through the device manager (Device Manager). Users do not need to have advanced technical knowledge to get started. This makes it relatively easy to set up and expands the possibilities of video analysis.

Users collect images of a selected object so that the machine learning model can learn to recognize it. When WiseDetector is used, it can use existing video analytics applications in the camera to trigger live events.
