RDI creates Mowasalat control room for FIFA World Cup in Qatar

El proveedor de transporte Mowasalat has relied on Roomdimensions Ibérica (RDI) el desarrollo e implementación de su sala de control para gestionar el incremento del volumen de pasajeros con motivo de este evento deportivo.

Como parte del plan de desarrollo sostenible Catar National Vision 2030, la empresa de transporte Mowosalat está electrificando la flota de autobuses, la nueva infraestructura de carga y los depósitos para crear una red de autobuses y taxis silenciosa y libre de emisiones.

En línea con esta estrategia, la compañía ha confiado a RDI el desarrollo e implementación de una nueva sala de control, un proyecto de referencia en Catar debido a la gran inversión en sistemas de movilidad interna que se está realizando con motivo del principal evento deportivo del mundo: the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Mowasalat will see an increase in its passenger volume due to this global sporting event, which will start next 20 of November to 18 de diciembre de 2022 and which is the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world.

The building that houses the new OCC room (operations control command) is a technological environment distributed across different operational areas, where more than sixty operators work, in addition to other adjacent spaces such as the Crisis Room, the Surveillance Room and the Security Control Center.

All workstations consist of LAN series consoles, a robust and reliable equipment that provides solutions to organize 24 operational environments×7 simple and very flexible.

La principal característica de la consola LAN es la modularidad de la gama, que permite crear multitud de configuraciones para adaptar el puesto de trabajo del operador en un espacio de diseño creativo y vanguardista.

For example, el supervisor de la sala OCC cuenta con una consola de altura ajustable que permite múltiples posiciones, al elevar la superficie de trabajo del operador, mientras se mantiene todo el cableado y las ubicaciones fijas de los equipos.

In the control room, con puestos para 47 operadores y un supervisor, se ha instalado como mobiliario técnico la consola LAN, con tres monitores de 24”, con sillas ergonómicas de Nightingale, así como un videowall Led curvo of Barco.

The crisis room dispone de una mesa de reuniones para doce usuarios, equipada con igual número de monitores motorizados de la firma Arthur Holm and EC6 executive chairs, to which is added a smart podium and a support operator workstation.
