RDI 4YC: all-in-one solution for control center management

This Roomdimensions tool combines the features of the KVM matrix, videowall control and smart workspace. It is based on encoding and decoding all video signals using a dedicated network.

Iberian Roomdimensions (Rdi) has developed the all-in-one solution for 4YC control centers (For Your Control) that combines the features of the KVM matrix, videowall control and smart workspace.

It is based on the encoding and decoding of all video signals through a dedicated and exclusive network, having the option to view any signal that passes through the network directly in the checkpoint or videowall workstations.

The 4YC platform allows you to subdivide each operator workstation screen into multiple windows and dynamically switch the keyboard and mouse by gaining immediate control of each source.

Each of the PCs to be controlled will have as many node-encoder as video output signals have. These are driven by an Rj45 cable to the communications switch. At the same time, each workstation will have as many node-decoder as screens available to the user, connected to the same Rj45 wired communications switch in the same way.

The audiovisual system will also count, as a rule, with as many node-decoders as screens have, unless the audiovisual model allows the interconnection of screens in Loop-through mode, so that depending on the resolutions required, the number of node-decoders can be optimized and the cost of the project controlled down.

Encoder nodes allow you to capture the graphic image of a machine and insert it into the network so that it can be recovered in other parts of the 4YC platform. Each graphical output of a pc, server or other possible sources, needs an encoding node that, not only does it send the graphical signal to other equipment through the switch, but also captures keyboard movement, mouse and even audio.

The 4YC video collaboration system allows different ways to visualize information can be configured through the operator's workspace. In addition, the operator can set up their workspace according to the specific needs that the workplace requires.

The decoding node software allows you to perform functions such as defining PCs on the platform, workplace monitors and layouts and scenarios; as well as biometric access control, dynamic preview of available signals and active sound management. Moreover, includes different functions like Get and Push signal, Main Screen, and integrates video conferencing system.

DS 4YC is a graphical platform that allows the management of all network signals and displays them on the videowall through an interface that can be custom designed and controls different elements. Signals can be both PC and light, Climate, Curtains, Alarms, Cctv… The videowall can be controlled via wireless, using an iPad, or from a PC installing DS 4YC control software.
