Nedap in AZ Zeno

Nedap has provided the new health care center AZ Zeno, located in Knokke-Heist (Belgium), the physical access control system and long-range readers for vehicle identification.

AZ Zeno, which opened its doors in April 2018, consists of a hospital with rehabilitation center, an outpatient clinic, Auditoriums, public event space and a helipad. Nedap Security Management and Nedap Identification System have worked together on this project. To deploy the system, collaborated with the company Electro Enterprise Gullegem.

AZ Zeno's top priority is to ensure the safety of patients and employees. With AEOS, Nedap provides the healthcare facility with a complete solution for physical access control, system that will also be used to manage staff lockers. With Nedap's Transit long-range readers, emergency vehicles can quickly access hospital facilities.

By combining Nedap solutions, AZ Zeno can offer patients and employees the best possible safety and accessibility.

The hospital combines functionality and sustainability, respecting the rural character of the landscape of the area. According to Nedap, a perfect connection between the interior and exterior has been achieved, as well as between medical facilities and public spaces. Your sustainable design focuses on your environment, green energy and the use of recovered materials.

"We are proud that two of our business units contribute to the security of this innovative center and better accessibility for its users.. The simultaneous implementation of AEOS and Transit is an example of the complementary nature of Nedap products.", explains Ruben Wegman, CEO of Nedap.
