Milestone VMS integrates with Nedap's Aeos access control solution

The resulting solution from this fusion of technologies is already being implemented in a publishing company in the Netherlands.

Milestone Systems y Nedap have signed a strategic alliance to integrate the VMS XProtect solution with the Aeos access control system. The use of open-platform technology has been fundamental in the integration of these two solutions.

“The best in video management and access control will be combined in a solid and perfectly integrated security solution. We are committed to developing a deep integration between our platform and XProtect, explains Sieger Volkers, Managing Director Security Management at Nedap.

The factor that has made it possible to provide an easy and flexible security solution lies in the capabilities of Nedap Aeos and the Milestone Integration Platform Software Development Kit (MIP SDK) 2016. Both XProtect Smart Client and AEOS provide a consolidated interface with functions to effectively control access events.

The result of this partnership has already been reflected in a project being carried out at a Dutch publishing company.

“The client wanted to see the events from their Aeos access control system in a powerful video management system. They wanted to leverage the power of the open Aeos platform and work with a single database. La integración se llevó a través del partner de Nedap y Milestone, Voskamp Beveiligingstechniek. “Debido a la asociación estratégica entre Nedap y Milestone podríamos ofrecer una solución grande, rentable para nuestros clientes”, dice Michiel de Graaf, Manager S&O de Voskamp.
