4K, key element of the security solutions that Panasonic will present at Ifsec 2015

Coincidiendo con Ifsec 2015, which will be celebrated from 16 al 18 de junio en Londres, Panasonic va a dar a conocer su nueva cartera de productos 4K en la que se incluyen una videograbadora de red y pantallas de videowall, así como la recién anunciada cámara domo con calidad de imagen True 4K.

La cámara True 4K (WV-SFV781L) es capaz de abarcar un espacio cuatro veces más grande que las cámaras de 1080p, así como nueve veces superior al de las cámaras de 720p. También cubre de dos a tres veces la distancia de las cámaras 1080p y 720p, respectively, and allows cutting the overall cost of surveillance systems in half.

“Our goal is to offer an operational, ready-to-use 4K system that can reduce overall costs associated with surveillance tasks. We estimate that switching to a True 4K system can reduce surveillance expenses by up to 50%, if lower installation, cabling, network, and maintenance costs are taken into account”, explains Sean Taylor, European Marketing and Channel Director at Panasonic Security Solutions.

Panasonic's True 4K surveillance technology is designed for various business areas such as buses or trains. Only one omnidirectional 4K camera per carriage is needed instead of four to cover all angles, which allows reducing the infrastructure to manage and maintain.

Comprehensive security

In addition, within the framework of Panasonic's comprehensive security systems, the company plans to introduce access control devices, intruder alarm and fire detection. Solutions for a wide variety of applications that combine intelligent analytics with surveillance camera technology, highlighting how to make the most of closed-circuit television systems.

The company will also present package tracking systems along with solutions aimed at banking, including anti-vandal ATM cameras equipped with a fisheye lens and microphone, as well as solutions aimed at the transportation sector and control rooms.

Panasonic's Face Server will show companies how to generate accurate profiles of their customers. A solution that can be used for marketing purposes, such as modifying advertising on digital signage based on age and gender statistics detected by surveillance cameras.
