Designed for placement outside or inside a bus, subway car and other vehicles, Axis Communications' new P3905-RE camera offers network video surveillance in a compact system, robust and discreet in means of transport.

Belonging to the range of network cameras P39-R of Axis for application in means of transport, the new P3905-RE model can be installed at the rear of the vehicle to increase safety on board and simplify incident investigation; on the doors or on the front.

As Roberto de los Santos explains, sales engineer at Axis Communications, "The P39-R series has been designed for use in various vehicles. Delivers high-quality picture with HDTV resolution and local storage, in addition to incorporating an anti-manipulation alarm to detect blows or spray painted”.

Axis P3905-RE 2For this expert, the model P3905-RE “is a natural extension of this series, which has a robust housing and offers a cost-effective and safe installation, ideal for buses, Trams, emergency trucks or vehicles. The Axis corridor format, that offers image in vertical format, it's perfect for these types of applications".

The P3905-RE camera has a 6 Mm. which offers a horizontal vision of 55º for the usual surveillance on the side of the vehicle. If broader coverage is needed, the housing allows the customer to switch to a 3,6 Mm. to obtain a horizontal vision of 87º. The new outdoor housing is sold as an accessory for the Axis P3904-R and P3905-R models, with a lens of 3.6 Mm.

For application in vehicles, this device has passed IP6K9K tests and withstands difficult conditions such as vibrations, shocks or temperature changes, as well as the regular maintenance of vehicles, such as washes.

All Axis P39-R series cameras are available with RJ45 male connector or M12 ruggedized connector, in addition to incorporating a pixel counter to ensure that the pixel resolution of an object meets the marked demands.
