Bosch Security Systems has addressed the challenges posed by the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center with the hemispherical speaker. This contains 14 speaker drivers, that ensure sound is radiated equally in all directions below the speaker and reduces sound reflection from the ceiling. Due to its wide opening angle and high sound pressure level, it guarantees the intelligibility of sound and speech in an area of at least 700 square meters.

To avoid echo, the system uses a 'delay' principle, where the second speaker starts just after the first speaker once its sound has traveled the distance of 700 metros. The third speaker starts with double the 'delay' after the first speaker, and so on. In total, 425 Devices were installed in the exhibition halls.

The speakers are connected to a Bosch voice evacuation and public address system with professional sound quality. This system is particularly suitable for the requirements of the trade fair center.

The system's flexible architecture and IP connections ensure that music and information are transmitted selectively throughout the different rooms.

The system must accommodate both building-specific audio signals and announcements so that visitors feel safe and comfortable in the enormous building. Based on these special building requirements, the project team developed a fully networked, integrated solution.
