The manufacturer of infrared thermal imaging cameras FLIR Systems has taken over the company Traficon International NV, specialized in the development of video detection technologies for traffic applications.

Through this integration, FLIR Systems expects to increase the pace of adoption of FLIR technology in the growing market for video-based traffic control solutions worldwide. Other than that, Traficon's video analysis capabilities will be included in flir's other imaging business lines.
