Davantis and Flir offer a new video analysis system with thermal imaging

The video analysis systems manufacturer Davantis and Flir Systems, specialist in design, manufacturing and marketing of thermal imaging systems with a wide range of commercial applications, industriales y gubernamentales, have reached a collaboration agreement to develop a specific solution for long perimeter protection.

Giving y Flir have joined efforts in the development of a new system that offers a specific solution for the protection of long perimeters where it is necessary to detect unauthorized access of people or vehicles to the perimeter, allowing detection distances far beyond the usual with total reliability. With the combination of thermal cameras and video analysis, it is possible to cover detection distances of more than 600 meters with a single camera drastically reducing the number of sensors. In this way, economic savings on materials are achieved, civil works and maintenance costs.

Flir has cameras capable of capturing the infrared radiation emitted by objects, facilitating their detection in total darkness conditions, with rain or even with light fog. Besides, its DDE technology (Digital Detail Enhancement) shows objects that would appear blurry with similar cameras from other brands. For your part, Davantis' video analysis is a perimeter protection system with maximum reliability, and obtaining the Primary level of i-Lids certification confirms this.
