Quanergy integrates Axis Vapix with its Q-Track 3D LiDAR platform

This technological addition provides seamless video connectivity and intelligence between the security platform of Quanergy, based on 3D LiDAR, and network cameras Axis Communications.

Quanergy Solutions has taken another step to improve its plataforma LiDAR 3D Q-Track with the network video API Vapix de Axis Communications, in order to offer a seamless connectivity for detection, tracking and real-time situational awareness in commercial security environments, industrial and critical infrastructure

The integration of Q-Track with Vapix takes advantage of the Axis cameras to optimize video verification and automated responses to events, thanks to the precise object detection and real-time tracking of the Quanergy platform.

This allows precise control of Axis PTZ cameras to capture video images and trigger actions based on events, how to turn on lights, activate audio alarms and issue automated notifications, everything from said platform.

“This integration represents a significant advance in delivering smarter security.”, rápida y precisa, as well as practical business intelligence to our clients”, assures Gerald Becker, vp. Quanergy Solutions Market Development and Alliances.

By combining the LiDAR Q-Track Object Tracking with the video performance of Axis network cameras via Vapix “We enable security operators to improve situational awareness and reduce false alarms.”, ultimately strengthening perimeter protection and operational efficiency, while reducing costs”, explica Becker.

Thanks to this technological integration, Now available to all Quanergy Q-Track customers using Axis network cameras, "we are transforming perimeter protection -adds this executive- by offering real-time visibility, actionable intelligence and automated response capabilities”.

Benefits of the integration

• Synchronized video and LiDAR tracking: Quanergy's Q-Track platform now integrates directly with Axis cameras to provide synchronized visual tracking and 3D LiDAR. This allows operators to monitor both the video signal and the precise location of objects in real time., ensuring a faster response to security events.
• Automated PTZ control: con Axis Vapix, Q-Track can trigger PTZ camera movements based on detected objects, allowing automatic tracking of intruders or vehicles in predefined areas.
• Event-based triggers: the platform can initiate actions based on events, how to activate lights, alarms or voice alerts when potential security breaches are detected, which significantly reduces response times.
• Reduction of false alarms: with advanced Q-Track perception software and high-quality video streams from Axis, The system minimizes false alarms by verifying detected objects with visual confirmation.
