Hanwha secures the University of Warmia and Masuria with more than a thousand cameras

This educational center in Poland has extensive infrastructure based on the video surveillance solutions of Hanwha Vision, comprising the PNM-9002VQ multisensor cameras; the fixed XNO-8080R and XNV-8020R; and the PTZ XNP-6320RH and XNP-6400R.

The University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM), located in the heart of Olsztyn (Polonia), has installed around a thousand Hanwha Vision cameras to ensure the safety of staff, students, and visitors.

He video surveillance system the university has evolved over the years to leverage analytics and artificial intelligence. This transformation began in 2009, as a response to the growing safety and security needs of the center. The video system is now a critical component for monitoring people and vehicles across the campus. Besides, it has improved incident response rates through scene analysis, sometimes complex.

The university is equipped with a surveillance system that includes a wide range of Hanwha Vision cameras: multisensor, with AI, fixed and PTZ.

The PNM-9002VQ multisensor cameras provides operators with a 360° view, allowing simultaneous monitoring of different directions and areas. It also offers significant cost savings. By combining multiple sensors in a single housing, it requires less cabling and infrastructure, compared to what would normally be required to allow separate cameras to cover large and complex scenes.
