Optex launches new Redscan mini-Pro sensor series

This is the latest addition that Optex has made his family Redscan LiDAR, a system that analyzes the size, Location and distance of moving or stationary objects to detect intrusions up to a range of 20×20 metros.

Optex has announced the launch of its new series of sensors Redscan mini-Pro, which has a Integrated IR camera and lighting, to provide very fast, highly accurate short-range laser detection, and visual verification in high security environments both indoors and outdoors.

The latest addition to the Redscan LiDAR series, is the mini-Pro that analyzes the size, the location and distance of moving or stationary objects to accurately and precisely detect intrusions up to a range of 20×20 metros.

Designed to work in short range applications, both indoors and outdoors, sensor can be mounted horizontally, to create invisible laser planes and protect roofs, skylights and ceilings; o vertical, to create virtual laser walls and protect high-value assets, perimeter doors or facades.

The Redscan mini-Pro integrates a camera that provides an additional measure of security intelligence, since it allows you to verify the cause of the alarm, while recording and saving detailed videos and logs for post-event analysis.

Thanks to your Led IR with adjustable light sensitivity, The sensor provides continuous monitoring of the facilities in any lighting condition. Detection is not affected by weather, temperature or light changes, ensuring consistent and accurate performance year-round and in a multitude of high-security applications.

To adapt to the needs of each installation, The Redscan mini-Pro allows the configuration of 8 independent detection zones, each with its own sensitivity settings, target size and alarm output, so zone and risk level settings can be optimized to maximize capture rates and minimize false alarms.
