It is a line of outdoor sensors with a range of up to 12 meters and 120 degrees. Incorporate QUAD technology, ensuring higher detection performance, and THE SMDA improves the logic of analysis, reducing false alarms.

Optex QX Infinity

By Demes Group has become the official distributor of the QX Infinity series (QXI) of Optex, expanding its offer of intrusion solutions. These are PIR sensors, outdoor-specific, infrared or dual-tech, which stand out for their wide angle, as well as the possibility of high mounting.

The new QX Infinity series sensors, designed for outdoor use, provide a wide area of detection. They offer a range of up to 12 meters and 120 degrees, In addition, can be installed at a height of 2,7 Meters. The latter feature makes them more disguised, thus preventing possible acts of vandalism in residential or commercial areas.

QUAD technology ensures higher detection performance and SMDA improves its analysis logic, correctly warning genuine alarms and minimizing false alarms. Using the low-mount option (0,8 M – 1,2 M) it is possible to create an 'alley' of pets and other small animals.

QXI models offer a clean and attractive design, with a front cover, easy to open and close, adapting to different types of outdoor environments. Its dual conductive cover helps the device filter out electromagnetic interference or those caused by light.

The "auto-walk test" function starts automatically when you close the cover and returns to normal mode after three minutes.

Wired and wireless

The QX Infinity range has four models that fall into two categories: wired and wireless. The first section is the standard QXI-ST version and the dual-tech version (PIR and microwave) with anti-blocking function (to detect any attempt to cover up the sensor) QXI-DT.

As for wireless devices via radio, QXI-R is the standard and QXI-RDT version that offers dual technology.

These sensors, complement PIR detectors for short-range outdoors, among those highlighted the VX Infinity series (Vxi) and the WX Infinity series (WXI).

Using AC-2C wall or AC-1W wall-oriented installation brackets, it is possible to specify the detection area of the sensors, something hard to get when it's fixed, no choice to move.
