Optex secures the new By Demes warehouses in Madrid

For this project, By Demes has opted for the solution Optex Redscan Pro, whose sensor uses LiDAR technology to create a high-resolution laser flat wall with eight independent detection zones and coverage of up to 30×60 metros.

The company has moved its Madrid warehouse to a new location with more than 5.000 square meters and high-value stock. Ensuring the security of this merchandise was a priority. Para lograrlo, they turned to the expertise of Optex, specialized in perimeter and interior security technologies.

By Demes Group optó por la tecnología de Optex para abordar sus necesidades de seguridad. El sensor Redscan Pro utiliza la tecnología LiDAR para crear un muro plano láser de alta resolución con ocho zonas de detección independientes y una cobertura de hasta 30×60 metros. Además de su precisión de detección, es compatible con ONVIF, which allows its integration with other security systems already installed in By Demes' facilities.

“It is a technology that, at first, requires a good amount of money, but that returns the investment quickly and in a few months. In this solution, we have a discreet solution that provides long-range protection up to 160 metros”, explains Milton Acosta, regional director of Optex for the Iberian Peninsula.

The implemented solution adapts to both the perimeter and interior security needs of By Demes, guaranteeing the complete protection of its facilities and stock. Redscan Pro provides precise detection even in changing weather and lighting conditions, which ensures security at all times.
