Optex introduces its indoor-grade sensors 2 FlipX Professional

With flexible and precise detection with a single sensor, the FlipX Professional models from Optex are designed for use in commercial and professional indoor spaces.

The latest addition from Optex to its FlipX series are the new indoor-grade sensors 2 Professional, especially suitable for protecting long and narrow areas of up to 24 metros, such as supermarket aisles, as well as larger areas, like classes, open-plan stores and offices of up to 15 meters at 85°.

By simply rotating the lens about 180°, the new indoor-grade sensors 2 FlipX Professional can provide either narrow or wide detection in the same unit, offering greater flexibility and reliability for both the installer and the end user.

Besides, la lente esférica, especialmente diseñada y común en todos los modelos de la serie FlipX, proporciona uniformidad en todo el campo de detección, lo que elimina los puntos ciegos que los potenciales intrusos podrían aprovechar.

Los sensores FlipX Professional disponen también de un blindaje conductivo doble para evitar las falsas alarmas causadas por una iluminación intensa y por interferencias de radiofrecuencia (RFI).

Estos nuevos modelos extienden y completa la gama de sensores para interiores FlipX Standard (grado 2) y FlipX Advanced (grado 3)

The FlipX Professional series is available in two models: FLX-P-ST (PIR only) and FLX-P-DT (dual technology with PIR and microwave), with a compact and elegant design to blend into the aesthetics of different commercial and professional facilities.

The sensors can be installed at heights of 2 a 3 metros, so they are hidden from view in office buildings or university classrooms with high ceilings and are kept safe from possible acts of vandalism. The installation is very easy thanks to an end-of-line resistor (EOL) and a redesigned LED indicator.
