Anixter and Axis help 'monitor' the flight of birds of prey at the National Bird of Prey Center

In addition to providing security, the system provided by Anixter, Axis, and Evolution has helped in the educational program and has contributed significantly to its improvement initiatives.

He National Bird of Prey is an outdoor educational center founded by Tom Byrne and Carol Fitzpatrick. It is located within the grounds of Russborough House in Wicklow, Irlanda, which has a spectacular natural setting and provides the perfect backdrop to create an ideal ecosystem for the birds of prey residing at the center.

El centro celebró recientemente el nacimiento de una raza híbrida de halcones bebés, that were conceived through artificial insemination. There is only a five-hour window during which artificial insemination can be successfully performed to produce fertilized eggs.

The cameras installed by Anixter and its partners allow monitoring of the birds and making the one-hour trip to the center if this window of opportunity arises outside of working hours.
