5Mpx Tyco Illustra Pro Thermal EST dual color/thermal camera includes Artificial Intelligence technology for facial detection and temperature reading, with precision of ±0.2oC.
Johnson Controls has launched its new smart body temperature scanning solution, Tyco Illustra Pro Thermal EST, for the push for COVID-19 protection measures.
A healthy and safe environment in the current situation should include among its safety protocols with temperature monitoring, in addition to the traceability of contacts, unre sprayed in and outs and the application of social estinement.
Tyco Illustra Pro Thermal EST provides quick scanning, with levels of accuracy that exceed the standards set by the International Electrotechnical Commission (Iec). Body temperature scanning can be done with people walking. The advanced facial detection technology it incorporates and immediate scanning times quickly alert operators to a high body temperature reading.
There is no need for people to stop or for operators to approach them, helping to reduce crowds and contributing to a contact-free building entry experience for visitors and employees in companies, Schools, sports and transport facilities, and any other type of buildings.
"The Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for all of us and our customers in Europe", Roland Billeter says, vice president and CEO for Continental Europe at Building Technologies & Solutions at Johnson Controls. "This camera provides extra measures quickly and contactlessly and can be a valuable component in a strategy to keep people and buildings safe “.
The high body temperatures identified by the solution must be confirmed with secondary evaluation methods, as clinical thermometers.
Measurements should not depend exclusively or primarily on diagnosing, prevent or exclude a diagnosis of Covid-19, or any other disease, or any of the resulting symptoms. The measurement of body temperatures and data storage should be carried out in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Tyco Illustra Pro Thermal EST is a dual color/thermal camera 5 megapixels that incorporates face detection technology, AI-enabled, that measures the temperature of the forehead from multiple points, facilitating more accurate readings than just scanning the hottest spot and reducing false alarms, with precision of ±0.2oC, when deployed according to the appropriate installation requirements and conditions.
Includes a 'blackbody' temperature calibration device, with a certificate of calibration of 24 Months, for sustained accuracy. It also has customizable real-time alerts for local or remote monitoring, through a browser or through compatible video management systems.
This solution can be integrated with other security systems, such as access control systems that can prevent people from passing through automatically.
