El centro de salud Kiwanis Village Lodge implanta el sistema de control de acceso basado en IP de Kantech

Esta entidad de Vancouver dedicada a la atención de personas de la tercera edad ha instalado los controladores de puertas KT-1 y el software de seguridad EntraPass dada su facilidad de uso, rentabilidad y capacidad para integrarse con la infraestructura de control de acceso existente, asegurando el funcionamiento de los servicios destinados a los residentes.

Kiwanis Village Lodge es un centro de atención para personas de la tercera edad ubicado en Vancouver (Canada). El edificio consta de cuatro pisos y un campus de seis hectáreas para los ancianos que requieren de alojamiento y diferentes tipos de cuidados.

Para controlar y gestionar el acceso de las puertas, el centro ha adaptado el sistema basado en IP de Kantech, company belonging to Tyco Security Products, que cuenta con un controlador de puerta de un solo botón (one-button). The local company that handled the system integration, chose the Kantech KTE-1 door controllers for their ease of use, rentabilidad y capacidad para integrarse con la infraestructura de control de acceso existente.

“The integration team made it possible for the KT-1 door controllers to work within minutes. It took less than a week to migrate our old solution to the new EntraPass IP access control system,”, comments Shawn Simmons, manager of Support Services at Kiwanis Village Lodge.

This center has chosen the intuitive Kantech EntraPass security software to manage the new access control system. The employees, from their workstations, they can monitor the functionality of the doors and receive updates. The scalability of EntraPass makes it possible to expand the reach of the Kantech system to include future buildings as residents' needs change.

Kiwanis Village is working with its system integrator to add more controllers to additional doors and extend EntraPass to other buildings in the community.
