The M30 model, which is part of this line along with the M10 and M50, is a desktop device that, together with the Milestone XProtect Smart Client and Mobile tools, allows the HSC to have instant and remote access to live and recorded video. HFC uses only Axis network cameras in the facility, as well as the A-8004-VE. Instead of using pan-tilt zoom cameras (PTZ), TCG opted for fixed wide-angle systems and displays the camera images at 360 degrees on the Milestone XProtect Smart Client screen, which provides optimal overview information without interfering with the privacy of HFC residents.

The A-8004-VE network video intercom is an IP-based door terminal, not tied to any specific vendor, which allows two-way communication, identification, and remote access control.
