Visual Tools secures transactions carried out at sales terminals with AX-POS

The AX-POS application from Visual Tools is software that integrates into Axis IP surveillance cameras to record the data from transactions carried out at the point-of-sale terminals, and allows their subsequent retrieval.

AX-POS is an application developed by Visual Tools that is incorporated into the network cameras of Axis Communications with recording on SD card or NAS drive to record and store the texts from the point-of-sale terminals and allows them to be displayed superimposed on live or recorded video images. This facilitates the subsequent verification of the legitimacy of transactions that are carried out and the analysis and reporting of exceptions.

La cámara graba el vídeo de la zona de pago vigilada y lo guarda en el recurso elegido, tarjeta SD o disco NAS. At the same time, la aplicación AX-POS instalada en la cámara, recoge los datos de las transacciones de la fuente de datos (ATM, TPV, ECR…), los etiqueta con la misma fecha y hora que las imágenes, y los almacena en una base de datos en el mismo lugar donde se ha guardado el vídeo y durante el mismo periodo de tiempo.

Accediendo a la interfaz de la cámara vía web, a través del software de gestión de vídeo Supervisor X o a través de un software de terceros previa integración, es posible recuperar los datos de las transacciones sobreimpresos sobre el vídeo en directo o grabado, search for images associated with a specific text or perform searches by the date and time of the images.

The AX-POS software from Visual Tools records transaction data and transmits it at the user's request without interfering with the POS or ATM operation or the camera recording function. overwrites data in real-time on live video and also on recordings, facilitating the retrieval of videos and data, and providing more effective visual control of operations.
